Admissions & Referrals

Paramount Youth Services follows a structured admissions process to ensure appropriate placement, safety, and continuity of care for every youth served.

All admissions are reviewed through pre-admission screening, clinical assessment, and documentation verification in accordance with state licensing requirements.

A youth may be considered for placement if he meets the following criteria:

Admission Criteria

  • Male adolescents, typically ages 12–20 at time of admission
  • Court-involved or agency-referred youth
  • Demonstrates need for a structured, supervised residential setting
  • Requires moderate-intensity therapeutic intervention
  • Full-Scale IQ of 70 or higher
  • Able to participate in residential and therapeutic programming

Exclusion Criteria

  • Full-Scale IQ below 70
  • Active suicidal or homicidal ideation with recent attempts
  • Acute psychosis, hallucinations, or disorientation presenting a safety risk
  • Sex offense history without successful completion of a recognized treatment program

Final determination is made following clinical review and assessment.
