Admissions & Referrals
Paramount Youth Services follows a structured admissions process to ensure appropriate placement, safety, and continuity of care for every youth served.
All admissions are reviewed through pre-admission screening, clinical assessment, and documentation verification in accordance with state licensing requirements.
A youth may be considered for placement if he meets the following criteria:
Admission Criteria
- Male adolescents, typically ages 12–20 at time of admission
- Court-involved or agency-referred youth
- Demonstrates need for a structured, supervised residential setting
- Requires moderate-intensity therapeutic intervention
- Full-Scale IQ of 70 or higher
- Able to participate in residential and therapeutic programming
Exclusion Criteria
- Full-Scale IQ below 70
- Active suicidal or homicidal ideation with recent attempts
- Acute psychosis, hallucinations, or disorientation presenting a safety risk
- Sex offense history without successful completion of a recognized treatment program
Final determination is made following clinical review and assessment.
